Sunday Club
The Sunday Club of Frampton Park Baptist Church aims to help children to grow in their faith and in their knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
"
Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it
." Mark 10:14b
Sunday Club is divided into three groups.
They are as follows:
Group 1
- Nursery, Reception and Year 1
Group 2
- Children in year 2 - 4 (ages 6-9)
Group 3
- Children in year 5 - 6 ( ages 9-11)
The groups meet every week apart from the first Sunday of the month which is an all age service.
We use Scripture Union material to introduce the children to the Bible and to help them understand God's teachings.
Sunday Club Support Team
The organisation of the Sunday Club is carried out by the Sunday Club Support Team.
The members include:
Christine Mueller
Rachel Timson
Ground Rules
We worked with the children to draw up the following basic ground rules for how we expect children to behave in groups. They are
To listen to one another
To be polite and kind to one another
To be helpful and supportive of each other
To encourage one another to learn about God
