Small Groups at Frampton Park Baptist Church
In our Small Groups, we embrace the vitality of fellowship and community spirit modelled by the early church in Acts 2:42-47. Just as they devoted themselves to teaching, prayer, and communal meals, we strive to nurture these same values through our diverse small group meetings.
Why Join a Small Group?
Our small groups, or Cells, are the heartbeat of our community. They are intimate gatherings where we explore faith and experience life together. By joining a Cell, you will:
- Engage with Scripture: Dive deep into God’s Word and apply its teachings to everyday life.
- Experience Genuine Care: Build meaningful relationships that transcend Sunday worship. Our groups are places where joy and struggles are shared and where every member cares for one another.
- Encourage Growth: Witness personal and communal growth as you practice faith actively within and beyond our group settings. As each group reaches out with acts of kindness, we see our community grow stronger and more connected.
Our Vision in Action
Our Cells are not just meeting points; they are active extensions of FPBC in the community. Each group is a place where members open their eyes to the needs around them, living out the love of Jesus by serving others, whether it’s offering a cup of water, clothing the needy, or visiting the elderly.
Inspired by Scripture
Frampton Park small groups (FP122) are guided by biblical principles :
- Romans 12:2: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
- James 1:22: “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”
These verses remind us to live out our faith actively and with open hearts, continually seeking God’s will and applying it in our lives and communities.
